Privacy Policy

How information is handled when you browse fixtures, choose a time zone, download a schedule or watch a match video.

Policy date: 26 October 2026. Applies to the men's and women's sections of A-League Fixtures.

Your privacy at a glance

You do not need an account to browse fixtures, print a schedule or use a calendar link. The site remembers your chosen time zone with a cookie. Downloading a fixture calendar does not give us access to your personal calendar, contacts or reminders.

This policy covers A-League Fixtures. Ticket sellers, broadcasters, calendar apps and video providers have their own policies when you use their services.

Information used when you visit

Browsing and connection information

To deliver a page or download, the website receives information such as your internet address, requested page, browser details and request time. Hosting and security services may record this information to deliver the service, investigate errors and protect against misuse.

Your choices on the site

When you apply filters, the site receives your selected team, dates, match view and time zone so it can show the requested fixtures. These choices are not a request to join a mailing list or create a fan profile.

Messages you choose to send

If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message, including any attachments. This information is used to deal with the enquiry, investigate a correction or respond to a privacy or content concern. Do not send payment details or identity documents in an initial enquiry.

Cookies and your time-zone choice

The preference cookie aleague_zone stores a city time zone, such as Australia/Sydney. It is set when you submit a time-zone choice and is kept for up to one year unless you clear it sooner or replace it with a new choice.

Changing or clearing the preference

Choose another city on a fixture page, or use your browser's site settings to clear cookies. Blocking this cookie still allows you to browse, but the site may return to its default Sydney time zone on later visits.

Advertising and analytics

The current A-League pages do not include an advertising or visitor-analytics script. External services opened or loaded from a match page can use their own cookies or similar technologies, as described below.

Videos, links and calendar apps

Official video previews and playback

Some match pages display a video cover image from an external provider. Your browser may contact that provider when the image appears, before you press play. The embedded player loads when you choose to play the video. The image and video services can receive connection details and handle information under their own policies.

Calendar subscriptions

A league or team calendar link contains public fixtures. Your calendar app retrieves that schedule and handles its display and reminders. We do not ask for permission to read or edit your other calendar entries. Removing the subscription in your app stops it following that calendar; deleting a saved ICS or PDF file is a separate action on your device.

Tickets, streaming and other websites

Following an external link takes you to another service. Any account, payment or enquiry you make there is handled by that service. Its privacy rules may differ from ours. External providers may process information outside Australia; consult their policies for their locations and practices.

Use, access and retention

Information involved in using this site is used to provide the requested pages, remember your preferences, maintain the service and investigate problems. Service providers involved in hosting or delivering those functions may process the information needed for their role. Information may also need to be disclosed where the law requires it.

Retention depends on the type of information and the purpose for keeping it. The time-zone cookie has the duration stated above; operational records may be retained to investigate faults or misuse. Files saved to your device remain there until you remove them. No online service can promise that every transmission or device is completely secure.

Privacy questions, access and corrections

Email [email protected] to ask about information relating to you, request access or a correction, or raise a privacy concern. Explain the relevant interaction and what you would like us to do. We may need enough information to check that a request concerns you before providing personal information.

For information about Australian privacy rights and when a complaint can be made, visit the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. Eligibility depends on the organisation and circumstances.

Changes to this policy

This page will be revised when the site's information-handling practices change. The policy date identifies the version you are reading.
