How to read the Ninja A-League table
A win earns 3 points, a draw 1 and a loss 0. P is games played; W, D and L are wins, draws and losses. GF is goals scored, GA is goals conceded and GD is the difference. Pts is the points total. Any points adjustment is shown alongside that total.
The form strip runs from oldest on the left to newest on the right. The next opponent is marked H for home or A for away. Home, Away and Last 5 compare match records; they do not replace the overall league ladder.
Women's league format & the finals race
Why have women's teams played different numbers of games?
With 11 clubs in 2026–27, each side has two byes across 22 matchweeks. Postponements can also leave clubs on different games-played totals. A bye does not earn a point.
How does the Ninja A-League finals race work?
The top six after the regular season qualify. First and second enter at the semi-finals; third plays sixth and fourth plays fifth in the elimination finals. The colours show current positions, not confirmed qualification.
How are teams separated when points are level?
For 2026–27, the first comparisons are goal difference, goals scored and wins. Further ties use head-to-head points and goal difference, fair-play points and additional home/away criteria in the competition rules. Alphabetical order is not an official tie-break.
How should I read the last-five form?
W means win, D draw and L loss. The newest game is on the right. Each marker links to its match; open Match-by-match form to read the opponents and scores. Home and Away views use only those games; Last 5 uses up to five league matches this season.
